About Nick

Nicholas Antonio Barton, born on November 13, 2000, beloved son of Edward III and Marie Barton, younger brother of Edward IV and Tyler of Crofton, Maryland died suddenly in a boating accident on June 4, 2022 on the West River.  Nick was kind, compassionate and a loving young man who lit up the room as soon as he entered.  Nick was a gifted athlete playing multiple sports for the Crofton Cardinals, then lacrosse for DeMatha, South River High School and then until his death at Anne Arundel Community College.  Nick was also an honor roll student and on the Dean's List.  He was twice selected to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll at AACC.  Nick's positive attitude, funky style and laidback personality were just a few of his attributes.  He was everyone's best friend and brought such joy to all that he encountered.  He was a bright light in this crazy world.  There are just no words to describe how much he is missed by all that knew him, family, friends and strangers alike.
